CERAMIC CITY STORIES STOKE-ON-TRENT

(*Presented to coincide with British Ceramics Biennial 2025 & Heritage Open Days 2025)

CONVERSATIONS IN CLAY…

Explore exquisite encaustic tiles and strange studio ceramics in this unusual and eclectic exhibition created and curated by artists Danny Callaghan (Stoke-on-Trent) and Craig Peebles (Edinburgh).

Location: Ceramic City Stories, Winkhill Mill, Swan Street, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 7RH

(10 minutes walk from Stoke-on-Trent Railway Station & BCB 2025 at SpodeWorks).

Sat 6th (10am - 5pm), Sun 7th (10am - 5pm)

*Preview opening during installation. Please note the exhibition will be a work-in-progress but you are welcome to visit us - come & say hello!

Friday 19th (10am - 3pm), Sat 20th (10am - 3pm), Sun 21st (10am - 12noon)

*Part of Heritage Open Days 2025 (free factory tours 12noon on Fri 19th & Sat 20th, see separate event listings for booking places)

WELBY & WRIGHT | SHARED STORIES VOL 2

Join artists Craig Peebles (Edinburgh) and Danny Callaghan (Stoke-On-Trent) as they continue their creative conversation in clay. You are invited to view our new exhibition; driven by a shared love for encaustic tiles and architectural ceramics. See how modern techniques and atypical subject matter can reinvigorate an endangered craft for contemporary applications and audiences.

We’d love to see you at our Evening Reception on Saturday 2nd August between 5pm - 8pm for a glass of something lovely and a welcome from our artists - we hope you can join us!
