CERAMIC CITY STORIES STOKE-ON-TRENT

CONVERSATIONS IN CLAY…

Explore exquisite encaustic tiles and strange studio ceramics in this unusual and eclectic exhibition created and curated by artists Danny Callaghan (Stoke-on-Trent) and Craig Peebles (Edinburgh).

Location: Ceramic City Stories, Winkhill Mill, Swan Street, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 7RH

(10 minutes walk from Stoke-on-Trent Railway Station & BCB 2025 at SpodeWorks).

*Preview opening during installation. Please note the exhibition will be a work-in-progress but you are welcome to visit us - come & say hello!

KILN SONGS | LATE: An early evening DIY event taking place on the Saturday teatime/early evening 5:00pm - 8:00pm Saturday 16th October as part off the final ‘Made in Stoke-on-Trent’ (British Ceramics Biennial fringe events) hosted by Ceramic City Stories at CLAYHEAD (Winkhill Mill, Stoke-on-Trent). Enjoy an informal & relaxed evening with chilled out chat & gentle live music).

Non alcoholic drinks & nibbles will be available but you are welcome to BRING A BOTTLE to enjoy at the event if you want alcohol.

A series of initial events & pop up displays organised by independent potters, ceramic artists & other creative contributors from (or closely associated with) Stoke-on-Trent. These inaugural ‘DIY’ activities aim to complement the British Ceramics Biennial (11 September - 17 October 2021) & encourage the development of a more substantial ‘fringe’ programme for future festivals.
