Celebrate the past: look to the future

Join us for an informal virtual tour of one of the city’s hidden gems! Participants will be offered a guided tour of a new exhibition displayed in the evocative surroundings of a traditional ceramic tile works.

Virtual visitors will be hosted by the two artists that created and curated the exhibition; Danny Callaghan (Stoke-on-Trent) and Craig Peebles (Edinburgh). This eclectic display includes historic and contemporary tiles, exquisite (re)drawings and fascinating archive materials.

Guests will also get a glimpse behind the scenes of The Firing Line, a manufacturer that still produces ‘dust press’ tiles on site using 100 year old technology and traditional techniques. We hope you can join us for a special virtual tour!
