PRIVATE HISTORIES MADE PUBLIC
*Secret Museum is currently operating as a window showcase for you to enjoy at a safe distance. Our latest exhibition reflects our latest joint venture with The Firing Line. The display is focussed on exquisite vintage tiles made nearly half a century ago by The Art Tile Company at ‘Etruria Works’ Stoke-on-Trent. It also features encaustic tiles made by the last incarnation of Maw & Co. in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent. You can even own some of this illustrious heritage & help us by visiting our ONLINE SHOP click here.
*During warmer weather we aim to open the window display as much as possible when we are working in Winkhill Mill; which is usually most weekdays (Wednesday am only) & Saturday mornings. We do have to occasionally close the door for periods during the day when we are off site to ensure security. Feel free to call or email us to check opening times or request a specific viewing time including ‘out of hours’. Unfortunately, we cannot offer full access (inside visits) to Winkhill Mill at the moment but will resume limited public events & tours at a future date as safety requirements are relaxed.
